TransMisr Triumphs as Africa’sBest Supporting Partner inMaritime Shipping at PangeaNetwork Annual Meeting
During the annual meeting of the Pangea and Connecta Networks held in Bangkok, Thailand, from May 9 to 11, 2023, TransMisr Transportation and Trading (TMT) was honored with the “Best Supporting Partner from Africa” award in the maritime shipping sector. The event saw participation from 280 members, including 16 representatives from eight African countries, out of more than 500 members spanning over 128 countries worldwide.
Mohamed El-Antably, Chairman of TransMisr and head of the Transport and Logistics Committee at the Egyptian African Businessmen Association (EABA), emphasized the association’s commitment to representing Egypt effectively in international private sector forums, particularly in maritime and air freight. He highlighted the productive engagements with African counterparts during the conference, which led to foundational partnerships with major shipping agents in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and The Gambia. These collaborations aim to enhance fluidity and ease in transportation and logistics across the African continent.
